A man has been charged with drink driving after yesterday's collision between a car and a bus at Beenleigh.

The bus was loaded with tourists for a day out at a Gold Coast theme park when it collided with a car and tipped on its side, injuring 23 people.

The 20-year-old driver of a sedan has been charged with one count of driving a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on November 6.
