…before Annie Lennox covered an emotional cover of the late Sinéad O’Connor’s global smash ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’.
Towards the end, Lennox exclaimed, “artists for cease fire, peace in the world”, which copped mixed reactions but was generally well received – one describing the activism as “the most meaningful and honest way to honour Sinéad’s memory.”
