A severe weather warning has been issued for people in parts of the Southeast Coast and Darling Downs and Granite Belt area.
Damaging winds gusts are possible over the Main Range National Park this morning.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, a vigorous west to southwesterly wind flow will persist with peak gusts of around 100km/h are possible this morning.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Service is urging locals to move cars under cover or away from trees, secure loose outdoor items and seek shelter indoors.
