IFC Films has released the first trailer and poster for a Johnny Flynn-led biopic based on David Bowie called “Stardust”.
The film is directed by Gabriel Range, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Christopher Bell. The story begins in 1971 as a 24-year-old David Bowie (played by Johnny Flynn) is sent to the United States to promote his newest record an EP called “The Man Who Sold the World”.
Bowies leaves behind his pregnant wife Angie (Jena Malone) to seek stardom with his band doing a promotional tour with (at the time) a struggling Mercury Records publicist Rob Oberman (Marc Maron).
Stardust is in cinemas and VOD from November 25th 2020.
