Lockyer Valley Regional Council Australia Day Awards and Citizenship Ceremony
Join us to commemorate the unsung heroes and new Australian Citizens in the Lockyer Valley on Sunday, January 26.
This year’s nominees are fine examples of community spirit, hard work and dedication.
Starting at 9am with the awards ceremony, we then watch as new citizens to the region make their pledge of commitment to call Australia home.
At 10.30am when the ceremony concludes, join in on morning tea provided by Native Oz Bushfoods, live music from Peta Pomerenke and paint your own boomerang with local Indigenous business, Hogarth Arts.
Lockyer Valley’s 2025 Australia Day Ambassador is Daniel Clarke, a passionate conservationist for the critically endangered orangutans of Borneo and Sumatra. He is also a passionate disability advocate.
Please arrive by 8.45am to take your seats for a 9am start.
Reserving a ticket on this platform does not reserve specific seats at the event.
