A 25-year-old man has died and another has been airlifted to hospital after a serious three-vehicle crash at Amberley overnight.
It’s reported a Mitsubishi Lancer was turning west onto the Cunningham Highway from Ipswich-Rosewood Road when it collided with a truck at around 6.45 last night (September 17).
A Toyota Camry was then hit by the Lancer, before coming to a stop.
The driver of the car, a 33-year-old Highgate Hill man has since been airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Hospital in a serious condition.
The driver of the truck and the Camry were both uninjured.
The highway was closed in both directions following the crash, reopening around 7 hours later.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage is being asked to come forward.
