An intense fire has destroyed a home at Somerset Dam overnight.
Queensland Fire Department says the blaze broke out in the Third
Avenue address at just before Midnight.
It took multiple crews including the Rural Fire Service to contain
the blaze.

At one stage the fire was threatening a neighbouring property.
A man was assessed by paramedics at the scene but did not require
hospitalisation.
