Three people are feared dead after a light plane crash northwest of Ipswich.
It is understood it went down in bushland at Fernvale near Lowood earlier today, with reports of three people on board.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau has been alerted and is sending investigators to the site to determine the cause of the crash.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman says the plane left Dalby this morning and was on its way to Archerfield.
Emergency crews are now on scene.
Investigations are underway.
