The Forensic Crash Unit has charged a man following a serious two-vehicle traffic crash in Forest Lake on June 8 that left five people seriously injured.
It will be alleged around 10.10pm, a white Mercedes-Benz AMG was travelling east on Forest Lake Boulevard when it collided with a white Toyota Landcruiser at the intersection with Renior Crescent.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 28-year-old Forest Lake man, and three passengers, a 22-year-old Doolandella man, a 22-year-old Forest Lake man and a 20-year-old Redbank woman, were all transported to hospital.
The driver and sole occupant of the Toyota, a 52-year-old Forest Lake woman, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 28-year-old Forest Lake man has been charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle causing grievous bodily harm, drink driving (low range) and driving with relevant drug in system.
He was issued a notice to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on October 9.
