A serious crash has claimed the life of a young man and left two others injured at New Beith.
Police say the trio were driving along Dungaree Drive heading toward Pub Lane with the driver lost control of the car, left the road and crashed into a tree around 6:30 Wednesday night.
A 22 year old Jimboomba man, who was a back seat passenger died at the scene.

The driver, a 23-year old Greenbank man and the front passenger, a 21-year old Springfield Lakes man, sustained minor injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is now investigating.
