QPS employee suspended for allegedly stealing

A 56-year-old female staff member from Southern Region has been suspended from the Queensland Police Service.

The member is subject to allegations of stealing and has been issued a notice to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on 23 July 2024 for the offence of Stealing by clerks and servants pursuant to section 398.6 of the Criminal Code.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when a member of the Service faces serious allegations of misconduct. This does not mean that the allegations against the member have been substantiated.
