Where to commemorate ANZAC Day across Ipswich

April 24, 2024 6:42 pm in by

Thousands of Ipswich locals are expected to set their alarms early tomorrow morning to attend ANZAC Day services across the city.

While ANZAC Day was initially a commemoration of Gallipoli landing in 1915, today it’s a day to pay respect to all Australians who have served and died in military operations throughout history.

Many are expected across the local area to turn out for dawn services – this marks the time of the original Gallipoli landing 109 years ago.
