The state government has announced the next round of funding for 'Looking After Country' grants has opened.
The government are calling on First Nations group apply for a share in $500,000 for projects in conserving the environment and cultural heritage on country.
In 2017 traditional owners in Tamrookum received a grant to protect a lowland black bean dominant gallery rainforest on the Logan River.
Applications are open until Friday the 9th of August.
