The owners of the Binna Burra Rainforest Retreat, which was destroyed in the devastating Scenic Rim bushfires at the weekend, say they will start from scratch.
The heritage-listed lodge and some outbuildings were amongst 15 other commercial structures and homes destroyed, when the fast moving fire ripped through areas of Binna Burra and Sarabah.
Chairman Steve Noakes says they will return it to how it used to be.
The tea-house near the trail plus the camping ground, huts and historic Groom cottage survived the fire...a Go Fund Me page has been set up to raise funds to rebuild the retreat.
