The Ipswich Jets have named their replacement coach for the 2020 Intrust Supercup season.
Keiron Lander (pictured above) will take over from co-coaches Shane and Ben Walker after announcing they were leaving the Ipswich club after 11 years in the job.
Ipswich Jets CEO Richard Hughes says Lander will bring plenty of experience to the role after previously being a player:
"Keiron has been around our system for over 10 years now and he has come through and proven himself as a player.
He was very quickly identified for his leadership skills to be our captain.
He captained our winning 2015 side and after his retirement in 2015 happily had Ben and Shane Walker as his mentors.
So, it was something that was an easy decision for us".
