Trade commissioners in Ipswich and Toowoomba to boost exports and jobs

Six of Queensland’s Trade and Investment Commissioners are in  Ipswich and Toowoomba to boost exports and jobs this week.
Ipswich West MP Jim Madden says the commissioners to Hong Kong and Macau and India are in Ipswich today while representatives from Latin America, India, the Middle East and Indonesia will be in Toowoomba from Wednesday until Friday.
He says that international trade is integral to the region:
"At the moment one in four pay packets are paid for by international trade and merchandise exporting trades, which is goods and services -- is just going through the roof.
Since 2015, it has increased by 98 percent in Queensland -- that means jobs for Ipswich and Toowoomba, which are manufacturing power houses".
