The 20-19 Newcombe Medal for Australia's outstanding tennis player of the year has gone to the women's World Number One from Ipswich - Ash Barty.
The 23-year-old capped off an unforgettable season, becoming the country's first women's world number ONE since Evonne Goolagong Cawley in 19-76.
In accepting the award, Barty (pictured below) thanked her long-time manager Nikki Craig:
"She backed me 100 percent in my comeback into this sport and I certainly couldn't be here without her friendship and her backing me day in day out regardless of being on the tennis court.
I have a genuine friend in Nikki".
