A Toowoomba teenager, who lost his leg in a horrific workplace accident, has united with the paramedics who saved his life today.
18-year-old Ned Desbrow was operating a skidder on a property in Tara last year, when his left leg was caught up by a wire, being towed at the rear.
He says he remembers calling his family during the ordeal:
"I just remember saying to mother and my brother that I wasn't going to die.
This wasn't the time for me and basically the last thing I remember was them pulling the cord out to amputate my leg".
