Residents forced to evacuate a Southern Downs town, due to a leaking dam, have been allowed to return to their homes.
An emergency declaration has now been revoked in Talgai, after some 5,000 locals were evacuated on Friday night, due to a crack in the Bolzan Quarry Dam.
It sparked fears the dam could burst as water gushed out...but the threat has since eased.
Affected residents have been given the o.k to return to their homes.
They're being warned not to drive on any closed roads, with Police patrols continuing.
