A teenager who left a police officer with permanent injuries in a stolen car chase at Ipswich has had his sentence increased on appeal.
The youth, who was 16 at the time, struck and badly injured Constable Peter McAulay (pictured) while trying to avoid road spikes at Booval in September 2018.
The teen's jail term has now been increased to five years from a three year detention sentence in the Queensland Court of Appeal.
