Ipswich Council has had its final meeting today before new councillors are voted in to the job at this weekend's election.
In a statement, Interim Administrator Steve Greenwood (pictured above) says the council is ready to hand over the role to the newly elected councillors after its policies, procedures, and its books were overhauled in last 18 months.
He also commended the work of the 1200 council staff at today's meeting.
The Ipswich mall redevelopment is among the projects now underway since the interim administrator took over the position when 11 councillors were sacked in 2018.
The city is now facing its biggest challenge ever due to the COVID 19 crisis
