A weekend armed robbery in Upper Mount Gravatt has resulted in three males being arrested and charged.
At around midnight on Saturday September 12, Police allege the trio wearing balaclavas entered a sports club on Klumpp and Logan Roads one was armed with a rifle.
They allegedly threatened a female employee stole a large sum of cash and then fled in a black Holden Astra which was later intercepted using tyre spikes on Main Street in Narangba.
They abandoned the vehicle but were all arrested a short time later.
Two males aged 16 and 17 were accused of armed robbery and unlawful possession of a weapon while an 18-year-old man from Teneriffe was charged with armed robbery unlawful possession of a weapon and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
He appeared in the Redcliffe Magistrates court on Monday September 14.
