Covid case prompts alert for Ipswich suburbs

The Queensland Ambulance Service set up its first Covid testing clinic to assist in identifying potential local Coronavirus cases.
Deputy Premier Steven Miles recently called on QAS officers to assist and support Queensland Health and the West Moreton Health and Hospital Service with virus testing.
In response the Service committed 50 staff to assist with popup clinics that could be rapidly deployed to areas where testing needs to be done.
Chief Health Officer Dr Jeanette Young identified the suburbs of Redbank Redbank Plains and Goodna where a Coronavirus case had been with Queensland Ambulance opening a clinic at Westminster Warriors Soccer Club at Redbank Plains daily from 8 o'clock in the morning.
Elsewhere locally West Moreton Health has reopened their extra clinic at Bundamba's Salvation Army hall on the corner of Brisbane Road and Coal Street from 9 o'clock daily each morning.
