The fast tracking of a program to undertake enhancement works on the Mount Kynoch Water Treatment Plant was recommended by Toowoomba Regional Councils Water and Waste Committee.
Council deemed the improvements as an important step to ensure current and future water needs of those connected to the Toowoomba Water Bulk Supply are met after committing $3 million in this financial years budget to begin the project which is expected to cost about $19.5 million over three years.
