Four wheel drivers illegal dumpers and environmental trashers be sure to smile at Lowood Bend and Fieldings Road as you are being watched.
Somerset Regional Council has heeded the call of residents after receiving numerous complaints regarding antisocial and at times disgusting human behaviour.
The local authority has installed covert CCTV cameras in the area to bust bush-bashers litter bugs and those using nature as a toilet.
Somerset Councils Chief Executive Andrew Johnson says restricting access to the area permanently is a measure they don't want to take.
"We have opened these areas for recreational purposes and we want that to continue in a safe and healthy way while acknowledging the support of the Queensland Police Service in assisting Council to ensure that happens", he says.
