A man has been charged over a boat tragedy that killed an Ipswich woman.
Police say the 46-year-old man was driving an aluminium dinghy with three other people onboard along the Brisbane river and smashed into a private jetty, at Chelmer.
The 21-year-old Ipswich woman died at the scene; two men and a child were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The accused is facing charges of dangerous operation of a vessel causing death, driving a vessel without a license and failing to provide a specimen of blood.
He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court at a later date.
