A line of gusty showers swept through Ipswich this morning with cool weather expected for the next few days and the possibility of frost in some inland areas.
Ipswich saw between 5-10mm fall across the region today.
Bureau of Meteorology spokesman Shane Kennedy says we can expect fairly clear skies across Ipswich for the next few days with maximum temperatures hitting between 22-26 degrees.
But it may get quite cold overnight with minimum temps expected to drop to 4-5 degrees through to the end of the week.
Mr Kennedy says it may be the last of cool dry air for some time as we enter the spring season.
"If you like winter weather the next couple of days may be your last chance," he says.
