A North Booval man accused of repeatedly stabbing another man in the stomach has been charged with attempted murder.
Detectives allege the 42-year-old lashed out at a 30-year-old Rothwell man after a group of people – all known to each other – got into a fight at a home on the Redcliffe Peninsula, on October 26.
He is accused of following the younger man to another home, where he allegedly stabbed him multiple times in the stomach, chest and forearm.
The victim was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for significant injuries, investigators say.
The accused is facing one count of attempted murder, and he is due in the Redcliffe Magistrates Court today.
