Very dangerous storm warning for parts of the Southeast

Severe Thunderstorm Warning - Southeast Queensland for INTENSE RAINFALL
For people in parts of Ipswich, Somerset, Scenic Rim and Lockyer Valley Council Areas.
 Issued at 7:22 am Monday, 22 November 2021.
 Severe thunderstorms producing heavy, possibly intense rainfall about the southeast.
 The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 7:10 am, very dangerous thunderstorms were detected on the weather radar near Laidley and the area south of Esk. These thunderstorms are moving towards the southeast. Very dangerous thunderstorms are forecast to affect Grandchester, Hatton Vale and the area northwest of Cunninghams Gap by 7:40 am and Rosewood, Marburg and Lowood by 8:10 am.
Intense rainfall that may lead to dangerous and life-threatening flash flooding is likely.
72mm recorded at Ma Ma Creek Alert in the 1hr to 7am.
45mm recorded at Gatton in 30min to 6:30am.
43mm recorded at Little Egypt Alert in 30min to 6:30am.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services advises that people should:
* Never drive, walk or ride through flood waters. If it's flooded, forget it.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
* For emergency assistance contact the SES on 132 500.
 The next warning is due to be issued by 8:25 am.
A more general severe thunderstorm warning is also current for parts of the Darling Downs and Granite Belt and Southeast Coast districts.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning for HEAVY RAINFALL
 For people in parts of Southeast Coast Forecast District.
 Issued at 6:41 am Monday, 22 November 2021.
 Thunderstorms about the southeast resulting in heavy rainfall.
 Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Caboolture, Esk, Gatton, Kilcoy, Laidley and Lowood.
 45mm recorded at Gatton in 30min to 6:30am.
 43mm recorded at Little Egypt Alert in 30min to 6:30am.
