Police investigating car-pedestrian fatal crash in Ipswich

The Forensic Crash Unit continues to investigate a fatal crash between a car and a pedestrian in Ipswich on Saturday, April 16.

Preliminary information suggests a 46-year-old man was struck by a vehicle on Roderick Street around 2.30am

The Churchill man was initially rushed to Ipswich Hospital before being taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital where he later died.

The driver of the Honda, a 59-year-old woman from Silkstone was not physically injured.

Investigations are ongoing.
