Reports of gunshots at Redbank overnight as police call for witnesses

Police are calling on witnesses to come forward after reports of gunshots at Kirton Street, Redbank.

Around 11.45pm on Sunday, police were called following multiple reports of gunshots in the street, near a residence.

Nobody was injured.

A dirt bike and dark coloured vehicle were seen leaving the area shortly after.

Police believe the parties involved are known to each other and there is no ongoing risk to the community.

Police have, at this stage, ruled out any links to the fatal police shooting at One Mile yesterday. 

Detectives are urging any witnesses, especially those with dashcam or CCTV to come forward, anonymous reports can be made.
