An 18-year-old driver has had his car shot at while stopping at Logan traffic lights, police say.
Police say a Mitsubishi Lancer was stationary at traffic lights on Compton Road near North Road about 9pm yesterday when the 18-year-old driver heard a loud bang.
The Wynnum West man pulled into a nearby service station and observed what appeared to be a bullet hole in the vehicle’s boot.
The 18-year-old man was not physically injured.
Two vehicles were seen driving away from the scene, including a dark coloured Nissan Patrol.
Police urge anyone with information, relevant dashcam footage or who saw a vehicle matching this description in the area at the time to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
