$5000 robbery: Trio hit shopping centre business

Police have released CCTV footage of a jewellery store robbery where the thieves got away with nearly $5000 worth of goods.

Just after 3.30am on May 29, three people gained access to the Collingwood Drive shopping centre before heading directly towards the business inside.

The group then smashed a window to gain access to the business, where they removed several jewellery items on display.

The trio then fled the shopping centre and drove from the scene in a silver 2012 Ford Focus with Queensland registration plates 581YYE.

It’s estimated the value of items stolen exceeds $4,800.

Investigators have released CCTV vision and ask anyone who may have seen the group/vehicle or may have CCTV or dashcam vision of the area on the night of the offence to come forward.

 

Additionally, investigators have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with their enquires.

He was last seen wearing a dark jumper and pants, white shoes and a brown handbag.
