A man has been charged over a violent armed robbery at a tavern in Greenbank.
Police claim that the man and his male accomplice, armed with a shotgun and a hammer, entered the Pub Lane business around 3:30 on December 1, and demanded cash from three employees.
One of the men then allegedly struck a supervisor in the head with a hammer, before fleeing in a vehicle with cash.
The 23-year-old was arrested at Acacia Ridge yesterday. He will face a Beenleigh Court today.
