A multi-million dollar new look for major Darling Downs beauty spot.

Toowoomba's Council has endorsed a 10-year, $15-million to revitalise one of its major tourism attractions.

The Picnic Point Parklands master plan has been approved by Councillors, after the new blueprint, which took council officers nearly 18 months to finish, laid out several improvements and new additions to Picnic Point over the coming decade...according to The Chronicle.

Improvements to the massive site include upgrades to Lions Park, Tourist Road, the Waterfall Gardens, Lookout Terrace, Tobruk Memorial Drive and the various bushland reserves.
