Drought reduces Southern Downs reservoir to a mere trickle...

Residents of the Southern Downs have been hit with tougher water restrictions, as the region battles drought and their main reservoir drops to below 10% capacity.

The 35,000 residents have been told to use just 120 litres per person per day...less than half the national average.

The Region's Mayor, Tracey Dobie says people need to find ways to save water.
