GOONDIWINDI MURDER: DNA of accused allegedly found on victim's jeans

The trial of accused killer Robert Trebeck will continue in the Toowoomba Supreme Court today.
Yesterday, Queensland Health scientist Mathew Hunt took to the witness stand to give evidence on a DNA collected from a pair of jeans that showed mixed DNA samples from the victim Alexis Jeffrey (pictured above), the accused Robert Trebeck and possibly a third person.
The Crown claims that 38-year-old Trebeck strangled Ms Jeffrey  with the leg of her jeans which were later found in a hedge two days after
her naked body was found on the banks of the Macintyre River at Goondiwindi on March 16, 2014.
