Thieves have used a stolen ute to smash a front door and pull an ATM out of a Gowrie Junction convenience store overnight.
Police say the break and enter happened around 3:30 this morning.
Gowrie One Stop owner Clint Webber told the ABC that they caused a lot of damage:
"There's no front door, all the front of the shop is smashed in, all the glass, all the architraves and everything around it.
So the cost to replace that, I have no idea at this time but it is not going to be a small figure".
The offenders fled in a Toyota Hilux ute, which was later found by police burnt out at Yallangur.
Anyone with information to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
