Sacked Logan councillor Stacey McIntosh can apply for Legal Aid

A court has heard a sacked Logan councillor accused of siphoning more than 180-thousand dollars from an engineering company is having trouble finding a defence lawyer. 
The Brisbane District Court has heard a trial date had been set for August 19.. but Stacey Lee McIntosh has no legal representation and a Legal Aid application had not been made.
Judge Paul Smith has told McIntosh to submit an application for Legal Aid immediately, adjourning the matter for mention on June 7.
