A Queensland prison officer is among three men due to face court over allegations that staff of a privately operated jail were supplying steroids.
The 26-year-old custodial officer from Leichhardt, Ipswich, was charged on Thursday afternoon along with a 29-year-old former prison employee, also from Leichhardt, and a 25-year-old Banyo man.
The charges came after the Crime and Corruption Commission said it had carried out searches of two homes in Leichhardt and Banyo on Thursday morning.
The men are due to face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday morning charged with drug trafficking and possession, among other offences.
