Traffic stop nets cash, designer watches

A man and a woman have been charged after designer watches, knuckle dusters and other illegal weapons were uncovered during a traffic stop in the Adelaide Hills.

Police say they found the items - as well as cash, cannabis, a flick knife and two mobile phones believed to be stolen - when they pulled over a Holden sedan in Mount Pleasant on Saturday night.

The 49-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman, both of Gawler East, were charged with numerous offences including possessing a prohibited weapon. The man was also charged with driving while disqualified.
