The A.T.A comes clean on the use of 'Jiggers' in horse racing.

The Australian Trainers Association says the use of electric shock devices or 'Jiggers' (pictured) on horses, is not a widespread practice in the industry.

Their comments follow the suspension of Toowoomba trainer Ben Currie this week, for allegedly using the device on two horses.

Chief Executive, Andrew Nicholl told the A.B.C...the industry has set down guidelines against the practice.
