If shopping at Brashs Music Stores, playing arcade games at Las Vegas in Albert St and riding the Shotgun Waterslide at Amazons was part of your teen years, chances are you may have already met Woody.
Proudly calling Queensland home since the first Sizzler restaurants opened in Brisbane, Woody has lived, worked and hosted events in just about every corner of the state.
From his first job in a pair of RM Williams boots in Longreach to a pair of board shorts in Cairns, Woody returned home to Brisbane in 2004 only to leave again in 2014 to head to the Beef Capital of Rockhampton before heading back to the south east, and River 949, in 2016.
You can also catch Woody hosting games for the Queensland Reds at Suncorp Stadium and the Brisbane Heat at the Gabba. Away from the River 949 studios, Woody’s a huge music fan, (and washed up musician himself), passionate Nth Qld Cowboys supporter and explorer of all that the South East has to offer.
